Petrus Psychology Professional Corporation is currently enrolling into the CLT Parent Skill Building Abbreviated Workshop.
This workshop will give an over view of:
- Parenting Styles
- Frustrations parents run into
- Basic parenting skills
This group will meet on September 15, 2012 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM. The abbreviated skill building class will be at no cost.
The goal of the class is to help decrease parent frustrations by increasing understanding of effective parenting skills and interventions.

The teen social skills group is designed to teach pro-social or “life skills”. These skills include skill streaming (social skills), anger management, and moral reasoning. The format used is based on over 20 years of empirical research and was identified by the Washington State Institute of Public Policy as 1 of only four programs with the best exiting research evidence.
This intensive 8-week program will focus on addressing the behavior of youth, reduce poor social behaviors, and offer alternative pro-social skills.
The goal of the program is to improve psychological skill competence, moral reasoning, and social problem-solving skills.

Petrus Psychology Professional Corporation is currently enrolling into our social skills workshop Lego’s and Social skills.
This workshop, lead by Dr. Steven Petrus combines a nationally recognized, evidence-based social skills curriculum with building a Lego.
This workshop will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Petrus Psychology.
Lunch and Lego will be provided.
The goal of the program is to improve psychological skills in a group setting. The curriculum consists of skill streaming, sharing in a group setting, interacting/talking with peers in a socially appropriate manner, and training in moral reasoning.
